Class Information

A thought....I often get requests to put on a tracking class, but it's pretty labor intensive, and thus it would not be particularly cheap.  I'll check with our club to see if there are members who would be willing to assist.  I'm thinking that a series of 3 Saturday or Sunday afternoons - about 2 hrs each session with 12 dogs.  I would employ 4 instructors, and the cost would be $125.00.  If that's something you'd like to be involved in, drop us an email and I'll put something together for mid to late May.

NEXT CLASSES:  For puppies and beginner levels will get started on March 12th, running 2X per week on Monday and Thursday evenings. There are 8 classes in a set.

The cost for a set of 8 classes is $136.50. We start class at 6:45 pm, and with a class 2X per week, we're finished in 4 weeks.

We will be starting our Intermediate and Advanced classes on March 10th, Saturday morning at 10:30 and holding them on Wednesday evenings as well - again 2X per week.

See the last 3 items under Obedience Training to the left for curriculum information and what we cover. We are well into our current set, and invite you to stop by to see how well things are going!

As well, you can have a look at the "Information For Your First Class" section on the left so you can prepare for your first class.

We're at 226 Edson St   To find us, go south of the Idylwyld freeway on Clarence Avenue to the Tim Hortons, turn right (Melville) and drive 'til you see a Petro Canada bulk station on your right (Portage).  The next street is Edson; go left and drive to the Iron Mountain sign on the right side.  Our driveway is immediately opposite. Turn left into the parking lot where you'll see Rosedale trucks.

Here's a picture of our building from Edson St looking South.  The door is at the left end of the large building in the back.

OVERALL STATISTICS FOR OUR STUDENTS:

1. Won 3 out of 4 High Score in Trial Awards

2. Won 14 out of 20 High Score in Class Awards

3. Achieved 5 new titles such as CD, CDX, or Utility

4. Our students who entered had an 86% passing rate. This is a function of knowing that the dog is prepared properly before entering, as well as doing the proper foundation work from the first class onwards.  Wasting entry money just 'hoping' that maybe your dog will get lucky and pass, is simply unnecessary!  All dogs can be successful if the work is correct.  Our instructors know how to coach you because they all compete themselves.
