Our Dogs

Sometimes the best way to tell folks about our dogs is to get someone else to do it for us.  That way, we avoid looking like we're bragging!  Here's a few notes we've recieved from recent clients who've bought dogs and puppies from us.

1. Hi Barry and Cathy,

Thought you'd like to see this side of Capone. The club is amazed at how quickly he is learning. We have been working for 5 weeks on protection. We are in the middle of a two day seminar. These are photos today. He did very well. Capone does not back down. Todays tracking was great as well. The obedience is coming but to be honest I have more to learn than him.... Capone has quite a deep bite. In fact the helper Akin Otiko always remarks how deep and hard it is. Yesterday after the first bite he even had to change sleeves, something he didn't do all day with any dog.   They can't believe how he always succeeds at each step.

2. From the Vancouver Police Department. Scout headed out there in May '11.

Hey Barry n Cathy.

Here's a pic of the boy out on the water. He has zero issue with any surfaces. Walked down the steep steel plank himself. Looked around the boat and fell asleep as we were motoring around the ocean.

There is a steel see through pedestrian bridge near my house about 30 feet long and 20 feet down to the running creek. He didn't even miss a step. He is showing great genes.

3.Greg bought Lex at 8 weeks in June '11, and headed north on a posting.

Hi folks!

I am really liking the north and Lex is loving all the adventures that we go on. We have gone out on the police boat and have gone camping out in the middle of nowhere.

He is doing great.

5.  One of our dog's and her owner's tracking work.

Hi Cathy and Barry

Just a quick update on Hailey who is now 1  1/2 years old. As you know in the fall she achieved her TD and just this last weekend she got her good neighbor ( I know its not difficult to obtain) so we are getting ready to start for our TDX which runs Oct 1.  After of a summer of running/bush whacking and swimming we are ready to start work on our TDX.  Our club is also looking into Urban tracking and we will start than after the Oct field trial if all goes well. Also practicing obdience as we want our CD - after our TDX or perhaps our winter project. Hailey I think has stopped growing and Barry you were right she did grow into those ears! She has an amazing personality and is a very outgoing girl - I am very proud and happy with her! She is an absolute sweetheart! Everyone loves her- again she is such a special girl- thank you for giving her to me.
