Buena Vista Kennels is located 2 Km south of Saskatoon on a lovely treed acreage. It is accessible by paved road all year round, and boarding for dogs and cats as well as many exotic pets is provided every day of the year. It can be reached by car from most places in Saskatoon in 15 minutes or less.
We take pride in caring for your pets and we appreciate the trust you place in us when you are away. The proof that our care is of high quality is shown in the fact that many of the veterinarians from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine as well as Saskatoon City Police K-9 officers leave their dogs in our care when they travel.
Outside runs are 4'x16' and well shaded.

DOGS - $13.00 per day + GST
2 Dogs from the same family - $11.00 per day + GST
We feature spacious indoor and outdoor runs for every dog. Dogs love fresh air, so when the weather is good, they can spend plenty of time outdoors in a roomy sixteen foot long individual pen. Their indoor run has a raised wooden bench for the dog to sleep on and sloped floors for quick drainage. Cleanliness is of utmost importance, and each run is cleaned daily, and again anytime that's necessary throughout the day. Each run is provided with fresh food and water. We feed top premium foods but if a consistent diet is needed, food may be brought from home. Blanket, beds, and toys from home are welcome.

Inside runs are 4'x6'. Each run has a raised wooden sleeping platform. We use a hospital grade disinfectant that kills all bacteria and a majority of viruses.
Playtime
We provide playtime in a 7 foot high fenced enclosure for those dogs that need extra exercise or like to get out for a romp with friends. Play time gives dogs a chance to play with other dogs for a half hour for an extra $2 charge.
CATS - $8.00 + GST
Our visiting felines enjoy a spacious cat room equipped with large climbing trees, carpeted resting branches and windows that look out on bird filled trees. Food, water and litter boxes are available at all times. While the cats are not confined to a cage, we offer open door cages for those that wish to retreat for a nap or to escape the playful antic of a young kitten. Traveling crates are welcome.
Small Animals and Birds - call for individual pricing
Arrangements can be made for boarding such animals as birds, ferrets, rabbits, turtles, hamsters and guinea pigs. These animals are housed in their own cages away from the cats and dogs. Regular cleaning, feeding and handling (if required) keeps these animals content during their stay.
Hours:
Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday, 10:00 AM to11:00 AM, and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
On long weekends with a holiday Monday or Friday, the kennel is closed on Sunday and opens at 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM on the holiday. We encourage you to take the time to visit us any time during opening hours.
